Emily Personal Assistant is a private assistant application used by its authorized owner. This policy explains how the application handles Google account data when the owner grants access through Google OAuth.
Depending on the permissions granted by the user, the application may access Google services such as Gmail, Calendar, Drive, and Sheets. Access is limited to the scopes shown on the Google consent screen and authorized by the user.
Google account data is used only to provide assistant and automation features requested by the authorized user, such as reading or sending email, checking calendar events, or accessing files and spreadsheets.
The application does not sell Google user data. It does not share Google user data with third parties except when required to provide a user-requested function, comply with law, or protect security.
OAuth tokens are stored in the private runtime environment used by the application. Access tokens are short-lived. Refresh tokens may be stored so the application can continue working until the user revokes access or the token expires.
The user can revoke access at any time from their Google Account permissions page. Once access is revoked, the application can no longer access the user’s Google account unless the user authorizes it again.
The application is intended for private, authorized use. Reasonable safeguards are used to protect credentials and limit access to authorized operators.
